Reflection Paragraph On Sources

Information was more difficult to find because, of the bias information that some websites had. The website that I used the most was, <http://scdiscus.org/>; while doing this project that website was my life line. All the sites that I used were trustworthy, and I used other websites such as Paperater.com, etc. to help my righting skills. Most of the links, or sites suggested by google.com and bing.com were bias so I rarely went to those website for information.

Reflection Paragraph On Process

My personal feelings were ambivalent to this project, because there were some good parts and some bad to this project. Overall I liked this project, the only part that I really didn’t like was trying to find information that was not bias. I think that blogging is more fun, effective to our learning because it helps students with understanding how to use technology correctly and we could pick topics of our choice which made it all the better. I found a simplicity for most of the project; even though the dates were a little close together. If I had this project again things that I would try to better on would be, having everything done so you want have a sense of urgency to do things. Personally I liked this project, I hope we get to do another similar to this one.

Reflection Paragraph On Findings

While doing research on my question, I was directed to an enormous amount of excesses information. In the process of my research I found that most people thought that “Eminem” was the best rapper of the 21 century. The majority of people that listen to hip-hop thought, since Eminem sold more albums, had a bigger fan base and gave back to his community then he was this centuries best rapper. But in the mist of my research I found that another young rapper was not far behind him; although, Eminem set the bar high, Lil Wayne managed to pursued some people that he was the best because of his album the Carter III which went platinum, his eight Grammy Award nominations, seven nominations Awards during the Hip-Hop Awards Ceremony, his large fan base, etc. The two artist Lil Wayne and Eminem put up a good fight but in the end Eminem was awarded the word best.

The main question that I had was, “Who is really the best Hip-Hop artist of the 21 century?” There were many different answers to this question. The two names that frequently came up were the artist Lil Wayne and the artist Eminem. Lil Wayne and Eminem put up stiff competition for one another but there can only be one on top. “Lil' Wayne is a rock star, but he happens to do hip hop. And by the response he gets in the hip-hop community, he obviously does it well. Lyrically, Weezy has elevated his game each year, and in the 21st century, he is definitely on top.” “Eminem is the highest-selling rapper of all time. He is the first and only rapper to win the Grammy Award for Best Rap Album for three consecutive albums (BET Show).” The final struck was blown when BET national accepted Eminem to be the best rapper of the 21 century.

During the steps of finding my main question, I came upon a few other question that should be answered so you could get the notable value of my blog. One of the myriad amount of that was answered was, “What qualification qualify you to be the best Hip-Hop artist of the 21 century?” “This answer was more difficult to find then others, but managed to get a good so and even better info. The qualification were based on a rapper’s: flow, lyrics, subject matter, cultural impact, dough, and as needed in the arsenal of a 21st Century rapper –digital skills (e.g., Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, their own website, etc.) (BET Shows).” All rappers have there distinct or unique type of Hip-Hop, but now its Americas turn to figure out which is best. If you think you know who the best is then, I want you to vote on my bloggers poll for a clarification.

While trying to solve the main clause of my blog, I have also found the answer to less significant but other effected and efficient question. One of the question efficient question that I have stumbled upon was, “ What is Hip-Hop, where was it originated and why people like it?” Well, I felt this answer to be quite simplistic to find because I to can relate to others; although people are different most people listen to Hip-Hop and I am one of those people. Hip-Hop is made of deejaying, or “turntabling”; rapping, also known as “MCing” or “rhyming”; graffiti painting, also known as “graf” or “writing”; and “B-boying, Hip-hop originated in the predominantly African American economically depressed South Bronx section of New York City in the late 1970s. As the hip-hop movement began at society's margins, its origins are shrouded in myth, enigma, and obfuscation (Encyclopædia Britannica)." Hip-Hop has a lot of history that no one really knows about, even though people over look the history of Hip-Hop-- you still can’t forget the roots of it.

Paraphrase- Eminem sold the most albums of 2010 with his album entitled "Recovery." Eminem has once again shown up many other artist again, by beating everyone in the highest album sales of the year. He left many artist in the dust, the only other hip-hop artist on the charts is not far behind him another hip-hop artist by the name of Drake the name of his album is "Thank Me Later." These two young men are also trying to make a future for themselves in the rap industry as well.

The main corporation of music admitted that Eminem is the best, so that must mean he really is or either he is really close. Hip-hop is now developing over years, and so are other styles of musical techniques.

There are many things unknown and question to be answered, but to make my blogger more significant and factual I need information that will be helpful to my understanding. The things that I want to know and need to know are the fan base of the legible rappers that qualify for the title, “The Best Artist Of The 21 Century;” Although the fan base is a major part of this research paper that not all of it. Album sales and downloads are a big part of this music industry, whenever you consider yourself to be the best rapper these three major things come to mind. Many people don’t notice the whole concept of being the best artist, so they look over the little things that might not seem so significant. These are the things that need to be known in order to be or qualify to see who is the best artist of the 21 century.
